Desperately trying her spirit is flying away

She's been given her freedom the new born is dreaming away to keep you away

Where would you go if she told you she's leaving today?

Would you tell her you need her?

Would you try to appease her?

Though guilty she needn't to pay?

You don't want to leave her your silence won't keep her at bay

So sit down beside her and try to unwind her
Find out if your love can remain

And desperately trying you reach down inside her
to the heart of her soul where she lays

But desperately seeing
              the new born is leaving
              her love
              to keep you away.
